The Feywilds. A realm of extraordinary Prisma density and breathtaking beauty: and, in the current age, something else as well.
Veraldié emerged from the same cataclysmic event that produced Midralis: a parallel realm shaped by different forces, resulting in a world of extraordinary Prisma concentration and ancient power. It is the homeland of the Åelvarin, and by lineage, of all Åels in Midralis. Its beauty is not metaphorical: scholars who have crossed the threshold describe environments of a quality that does not translate into standard Auridian aesthetic vocabulary.
The Fey Migration of the late 3rd Age brought significant numbers of Veraldié’s inhabitants to Midralis. What drove them is a question that different sources answer differently, and the answers are not always consistent with each other. Communities of fey beings have established themselves across Auridia and Kyou. Their relationship to the Midralian institutions around them varies from collaborative to cautious to openly complicated.
